Run the tacking stitch to secure the folded fabric in place.

Your first folded fabric piece should look something like this.

Once all your block is finished stitching, remove it from the hoop
and trim any excess fabric and stabilizer to a 1/2” seam allowance.
Once secure, trim away the excess fabric from within the batting
block, leaving a 1/2” seam allowance extending outside the edges.
Repeat steps I - N to finish the remaining folded fabric strips.
Your folded fabric block is now complete!
