Sew the rows together. Use an Iron to butterfly press the
seams, and trim away any excess material to improve the
hand of the tile scene. NOTE: If you’re not certain of how well
the rows will come together, try basting the blocks together first.

Next, place your backing fabric face down and layer it with
your tile scene, face up. The backing fabric should extend the
tile scene by 2” on each side.

Using a walking foot and clear or matching thread, carefully
stitch in the ditch through all of the layers of the tile scene.
The four blocks should now all be stitched together, creating
the window tile scene tile scene. You are ready to add your
backing and binding to finish your tile scene.
To keep the back fabric in place while you work, use some
temporary fabric adhesive spray such as 505 spray.
Next, trim the excess backing fabric from around your
tile scene. You should still have your 1⁄2” seam allowance
remaining. Now you are ready to attach the binding.
