STITCHING THE MITERED PILLOW BORDER
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
A B
To start, hoop a piece of No-Show mesh and run the
squaring stitch.
Take a piece of batting and place it on top of the
squaring stitch. Make sure the batting covers the squaring
stitch completely
C D
The next machine step is the tacking stitch. Trim away the
excess batting up to the tacking stitch.
Once completely trimmed, the project should look like this.
E F
Take the base fabric and place it face up on top of the
batting. Leave 1⁄2" seam allowance on all sides.
Next, run the tacking stitch for the base fabric to hold it
in place.
NOTE: Match the tacking stitch thread to the base fabric
so that it's easily disguised.
