Framing & Finishing
ACHIEVING AN IDEAL ARRANGEMENT
Creation is only the first step in the artistic process; the presentation to properly
showcase the work comes next. Presentation is, in essence, a continuation of the
art itself, and should be considered as such when making the decision of mounting
and framing your new works. With thousands of frame options to choose from,
you may notice most are not suited for presenting embroidered art.
This section in the series is intended to guide you through the process Wilson
personally uses when presenting these modular works of art. Whether the
intention is featuring one selected piece or a gathering of works for a gallery wall,
careful consideration into the spacing, frame style, scale, and color story of the
pieces all come into play in deciding the presentation style.
