STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
STEP A
To start, hoop a piece of No Show mesh stabilizer
and run the first step in the design, which will be a
squaring stitch for the batting.
NOTE: If you are wanting to use
these snowflake blocks as standard
quilt blocks, simply use standard
batting in the following step, then
continue to follow along until step J
for a completed quilt block!
STEP B
Place a piece of Insul-Bright thermal batting over
top of the squaring stitches, being sure to cover the
stitches completely. Ensure when laying Insul-Bright
to place it with the shiny or heat-protecting side
facing right side up!
WARNING: In order for this project
to be a successful trivet, you must
use a heat-resistant insulating
material in this step, or you may risk
injury and/or damage to surfaces!
STEP C
Run the next step, which will be the tacking stitch for
the Insul-Bright.
