M N
Use a snowflake paper punch to create little snow flurries,
and place them all across the block. NOTE: If your flurries
keep drifting away or moving from where you want them,
try using a bit of spray adhesive on the block first!
O P
Trim away the excess organza, leaving at least 1⁄16” outside
of the tacking stitch to prevent the organza from pulling out.
NOTE: If you trim too closely to the tacking stitch, the
organza may come loose!
Q R
Place the first folded fabric strip face side down, overlapping
the placement stitch by about 1⁄4” as shown.
Now, place 1 layer of sheer organza over the entire block,
ensuring it’s completely covered, then proceed to run the
tacking stitch to secure it in place. TIP: For a frostier looking
scene, you can also double up your layers of organza!
Follow your design’s numbered machine steps to complete
the decorative embroidery before the folded fabric borders.
Stop once you reach the placement stitch for the first folded
fabric strip.
The next machine step will be the folding stitch.
