Place the back fabric face up on top of the placement stitch,
leaving at least 1⁄2” seam allowance and use tape to secure
the fabric in place.

Remove the project from the stabilizer, along with any excess
stabilizer stuck to the project.

Trim away any excess fabric, leaving 1⁄2” seam allowance on
all sides.
The next and final machine step is the tacking stitch, which
will tack the front and back of the fabric at the same time.
Now that both the front and the back of the bag are
complete, it’s time to trim them down.
Once both sides are trimmed to the same size, its times to
assemble the bag.
