Turn the quilt face down, fold the binding toward the back, and
press it with a steam iron toward the edge of the quilt back.

Once you reach the corner, fold the horizontal portion of the
binding under, and then the vertical portion on top; this will
create a mitered corner.

Using your sewing machine, stitch in the ditch from the top
side of the quilt to attach the binding in place.
Turn the raw edge of the binding under so that it covers any
stitches. Fold the binding in to meet the raw edge of the quilt,
and then fold up and over onto the quilt back as shown here.
Use pins to secure the folded binding in place.
Pin the corners in place securely, and continue attaching the
remainder of the binding in this fashion.
Your quilt is now backed and bound!
