Cut a piece of velcro that is the same length as the top of
your completed panel. We used the hook (scratchy) side of
the velcro for this portion. Use pins to secure the velcro in
place as shown. NOTE: We used 5⁄8” width sew on velcro.
Once the velcro is attached, your panel should look like this.
Using your sewing machine, sew along the perimeter of the
velcro to attach it securely to the panel, removing pins as you
stitch. Remember to do this for all sides of the velcro.

Using your sewing machine, attach the velcro to the quilt, as
you did in step M.
Attach the loop side of the velcro to the quilt, just under the roof
line. We placed it directly over the top folded fabric border, as
indicated here by the black outline. Repeat steps L - N to attach.
Your completed panel is now ready to be attached to the quilt!
