When the design is complete, remove it from the hoop. Use
a rotary cutter and ruler to trim out the petals, removing the
excess stabilizer from around each petal.
NOTE: The more stabilizer you trim away, the better the
design will rinse out! Use scissors to trim closer around
each petal before rinsing.
Use a solution of hot, soapy water to rinse each petal and
dissolve the remaining stabilizer. Be sure to rub the back of
each petal to remove excess wash away from the bobbin
stitches. Lay flat to dry entirely.
Your flower petals are now finished! Set these aside and move on to the next set of instructions to learn how to create the
main design where the petals will get attached.
