ANATOMY OF THE DESIGN
FRONT, BACK, SIDE TO SIDE
The construction of each card is quite simple and can
be completely finished in the hoop. As you prepare your
cardstock for your project, be sure that the tab is in the same
location for both your card and design file. For example, the
design file RCD3 has the tab on the right hand side, so the
card shape that you cut will need to the have the tab on the
right hand side as well. Once you’ve cut out the correct card
for your design, you and your embroidery machine can take
care of the rest!
With the digitized embroidery steps to guide you, you’ll
place the card on your stabilizer, then tack a base fabric onto
the card. Then stitch out the decorative embroidery to make
the card come to life. The last set of steps secures a piece
of fabric to the back of the card so you can have a seamless
finished card, free of any showing bobbin stitches on the
back side!
