FINISHED BRIDE 1
ANATOMY OF THE DESIGN
Each bridal figure in this collection comes with 1-4
coordinating free standing elements. These elements will
need to be stitched first on a water soluble or Wash Away
stabilizer. Rinse and let them dry, and while you wait you can
begin stitching your bride. After the decorative embroidery
has run, the last few steps of the design will be a series of
placement and tacking stitches to attach the free standing
elements to your bride. Keep in mind that you want to run
the placement stitch for those elements in a color that is
easily visible on top of the embroidery that has already been
stitched. Don’t worry about whether or not your can see it
because it will get covered by the beautiful lace or organza
pieces in the end!
As you take a look at the designs on the following pages,
note that each one is set up similarly to how it is shown here.
This will help you choose the correct free standing piece and
its positioning for each of the bride design, with no hassle or
guess work!
COLOR CODED
Each free standing element will be labeled with a
letter in its name, as well as having a corresponding
outline on the bride’s A design. Use these colored
lines to help you determine the proper placement for
each piece.
