CONSTRUCTING YOUR BLOCKS

Starting with two quilt blocks on the top row, place the blocks
right sides together so that the tacking stitches are aligned.
Begin by laying the 6 B sized blocks into a pattern of your
choosing or as shown above. Here we are using 3 APBQB11b
and 3 AP-BQB12b blocks. Separate the blocks into

Pin them right sides together as shown. Using your sewing machine, stitch a straight stitch to attach
the blocks, being sure to sew just inside the tacking and
squaring stitch lines.
NOTE: Remember to leave a ½” seam allowance on
all edges.

Once the blocks are attached, butterfly press the seams open
using a steam iron.
Repeat steps B - E to construct 2 rows. Each finished row
should consist of 3 blocks.
