After you have decided on
what Wild Mandala designs
you want to merge onto the
background blocks, next you
need to plan out your fabrics
and thread colors. You not
only want to think about the
colors of your Wild Mandala
quilt blocks, but also the
colors of your Southwestern
Quilt or Navajo quilt blocks.
If you want to follow the
colors we chose for all three
collections, then the work is
already done for you! The
sepia color palette that we
used in Wild Mandalas is the
perfect match to the rusty
oranges and browns that
are also used in the Navajo
and Southwestern Quilt
collections. Match those
fabrics for each collection as
well and you have the perfect
trio to create the ultimate
Southwest-inspired quilt!
Just don’t forget to use the
“A” size of each quilt block
throughout, paired with the
“B” size of whatever Wild
Mandala designs that you
choose.
