Once trimmed, your cutwork spaces should look something
like this.

Take your accenting fabric and place it right side facing down
over the back of the design, being sure to cover the cutwork
design on all sides. Again, you will need enough fabric to
provide a 1/2” seam allowance on all sides.

Run the next step in the design, which will be the tacking
stitches for the cutwork accent fabric.

Now, flip your hoop over to the back side so the bobbin
stitches are facing you.
Use tape to secure the fabric to the back of the hoop, then
gently slide the hoop back into your machine as normal.
Now, from the back side of your hoop, use scissors to trim
away any excess accent fabric. Be sure to leave a 1⁄2” seam
allowance on any areas that touch the outer tacking stitch
square, like the pieces you see here at the top and bottom.
