S T
Run the next machine step, which will be the placement
stitch for the first folded fabric border.
U V
The second step for the folded fabric border is the folding
stitch, which secures the fabric in place and guides you
where to fold your fabric in the next step.
W X
The final step for completing the folded fabric border is the
tacking stitch, which will secure the border fabric in place.
For this step, make sure to match thread to your fabric color.
Place the first folded fabric strip right side down, 1/4” inside
the placement stitches as shown.
Fold the fabric strip tightly over the top of the folding stitch.
Finger crease in place, and if using heavier fabric such as
denim, use tape if needed to secure.
Repeat steps S - W to complete the next folded fabric border,
which will be opposite the first piece.
