MAKING A PLACEMAT
Do you need a simple and easy project to

embellished onto a handmade placemat. Follow
along with these step-by-step instructions to
learn how you can make your own placemats.
Entertain your guests in style, or give a set as a
gift to a loved-one. In order to make a washable
and reusable set of placemats, be sure to wash all
the materials before you stitch out your designs or
construct the placemat.

Appliqué fabric (amounts vary, see below)
Tear Away stabilizer
Embroidery thread to coordinate with design
1 spool all-purpose sewing thread

different sizes of appliqué for each one, we
cannot provide the exact amounts needed
above. The easiest way to determine the
amount of fabric needed for your specific
design is to measure the placement stitches
as you go and cut your fabrics accordingly.
