Use scissors to trim away the cording from inside the end,
and fold the fabric over so that the raw edge is hidden. Wrap
this over the starting point and secure.
Once all the piping is attached, your cushion top should look
like this. Set this to the side for now.
Sew together with 1⁄2” seams. Repeat this for the end pieces
as well, and attach all together into rectangle frame. When
attached, press seams open so each piece lays flat.
Take the fabric side pieces that you cut in step 12 of Creating
the Cushion Top, and place them face to face, pinning
to secure.
Once you reach the starting point, overlap it by about 1 1⁄2” as
seen here.
When you get to each corner, use scissors to make three
small snips in the piping to allow it to go around smoothly. Pin
as needed to secure.
