STITCHING OUT A QUILT BLOCK
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Run the first machine step, which is the squaring stitch to
indicate where you will place the batting.
To begin, hoop a piece of No Show mesh stabilizer and load
the block design of your choice.
NOTE: Here, we are stitching design FNPQ1.

Place a piece of batting over the squaring stitches. Run the next machine step, which is the tacking stitch that
secures the batting to the stabilizer.

Using scissors, trim away any excess batting up to the
tacking stitch line.
Once trimmed, your batting should look something like this.
Run the next machine step, which is the placement stitch for
the base fabric.
