STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Run the first machine step, which is the placement stitch for
the base fabric.

Place your desired base fabric right side facing up over the
placement stitch, being sure to cover it entirely.
Run the next machine step, which is the tacking stitch that
secures the base fabric to the design.
NOTE: Be sure to leave at least 1⁄2” seam allowance on the
left and right side, indicated above.

Trim only the edges that will be finished with a satin stitch
outline, while leaving both the left and right side with at least
a 1⁄2” seam allowance.
Once trimmed, your design should look something like this.
To begin, hoop two pieces of Wash Away stabilizer and load
HSPBACK, which is the universal back file that is used with
all the designs in this collection.
