Once all the excess slack has been pull through to the back
of the design, your French knot should form and your design
should look something like this.
Pull the excess slack through to the back of the design while
continuing to keep the floss pulled taut from the needle.
9 10
Tie off your knot by piercing the needle through just the
stabilizer, being sure not to go all the way through to the front
of the design. You want this knot to exist solely on the back.
Before pulling the excess slack through completely, a loop
will form. Slide your needle through the loop and then
continue to pull the remaining slack.

Once you have finished tying off your knot, trim away the
excess embroidery floss.
Follow steps 3 - 11 to create more French knots on your
design! Once you are satisfied with the amount of them, you
are all done.
