You will notice that there are two sets of step-by-step picture
instructions for the moth wing design files. While all design
files with wings are stitched out in the same manner, there are
two different methods of assembling the moth wings to their
respective bodies. We created this page to help explain the
difference between the two assembly methods.
Just by looking at the detailed images of the fully constructed
moths, you will see a slight difference; Top wing moths
feature wings that sit on top of the body, while bottom wing
moths have wings that sit under the body.

To make this even less confusing, we have organized the
design files into two groups.
MMBODY1 - MMBODY6 are bottom wing moths, meaning
their wings are tacked down under their bodies.
MMBODY7 - MMBODY10 are top wing moths, meaning their
wings are tacked down over their bodies.
