Stitching out a Quilt Block
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Take a piece of batting and place it over the squaring
stitches, being sure to cover them on all sides.
To begin, hoop a piece of No Show mesh stabilizer to fit your
hoop, and load the block design you are wanting to stitch.
Run the first step of the block, which will be a squaring stitch
to indicate where the batting will go.
For this example, we are stitching AABCOW1.

Proceed to run the tacking stitch for the batting. Now, take a pair of curved-tip appliqué scissors and trim
away any excess batting from the tacking stitch line.

Once the batting is trimmed, your block will look like this. Continue to run the placement stitch for the base fabric.
