Lay a piece of batting over the placement stitch, being sure
that the squaring stitch is covered by batting on all edges.

Run the next machine step. This is the tacking stitch that
secures the batting to the stabilizer.
Trim the batting on all sides up to the tacking stitch.

Once trimmed, your design should look something like this. Run the next machine step, which is the placement stitch for
the cornerstone appliqué.
To begin, hoop a piece of No-Show mesh stabilizer and run
the first machine step. This is the placement stitch to show
you where to place the batting.
NOTE: Here, we are stitching CSC1.
