CREATING YOUR DESIGN
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
A B
Run the first machine step, which will be the placement stitch
for the base fabric.
C D
For the base fabric, the mesh we used is a thicker type of
nylon netting material meant to be used in petticoats or other
projects. It has a heavier construction than tulle, and comes
in several colors. Ours does not have stretch.
Place two layers of the netting over the placement stitches,
making sure to cover the circle entirely.
E F
Continue to the next machine step, which will be the tacking
stitch for the base fabric.
NOTE: We suggest running this in a matching color, as it
will give the finished design a more cohesive look.
Run the embroidery steps for the design, following the
numbered machine steps specific to your chosen design.
Begin by hooping two pieces of Wash Away stabilizer.
NOTE: For this tutorial, we are stitching file MMFH3.
