STITCHING OUT A MAIN BLOCK
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
A B
Take a piece of batting and place it over the squaring
stitches, being sure to cover them on all sides.
C D
Proceed to run the tacking stitch for the batting. Now, use a pair of curved tip appliqué scissors to trim away
any excess batting from the tacking stitch line.
To begin, hoop a piece of No Show mesh stabilizer and load
the block design of your choice. Run the first step in the
design, which will be a squaring stitch to indicate where the
batting will be placed.
NOTE: For our example, we are stitching design SS2.
