Place appliqué fabric right side up over the placement stitch.

Run the tacking stitch to secure the appliqué fabric Use a pair of scissors to trim away the excess appliqué fabric
along the edges of the appliqué that exist within the edges
of the batting.
NOTE: Leave at least 1⁄2” seam allowance on all outer
edges of the design.

Once trimmed, your first appliqué fabric should look
something like this.
Reference the same technique shown in picture steps
G - K to complete the remaining appliqués. Once your
appliqués are complete, you will move on to the decorative
embroidery. See inset for a completed piece.
The next machine step will be the placement stitch for the
first appliqué.
