MANUAL ALIGNMENT
If your embroidery machine doesn’t
have a camera feature, here are a few
tips and tricks you can use to be sure
your designs are exactly where you
want them to be.
First, for the nested designs, the needle
will start in the exact spot
where your designs should
connect horizontally.
Second, when aligning nested
designs, you should consider
creating a template of the nested
design you want to repeat. To do
this, stitch out the nested design
you want on stabilizer.
Depending on your type of project, you
will either want to re-hoop your base
materials with the appropriate stabilizer
between each design, or float the base
material/s over hooped stabilizer. In this
tutorial, we use the re-hooping method.
For even more reassurance that you
are aligning everything accurately, you
can draw an axis on your stabilizer or
base material in the exact center to
help guide you.
PLEASE NOTE: The following
pages step-by-step instructions are
teaching how to use a machine
alignment rather than manual alignment.
