As always, we here at Anita Goodesign aim to make our
projects fun and easy! Our step-by-step pictures within this
tutorial will break down how to construct your Cozy Comfort
Wrap blocks, as well as an in-depth guide on how to piece
together a finished wrap. This project uses a basic quilt block
construction method where we have you sew in-between
the inner squaring stitch and outer tacking stitch lines to join
blocks. The blocks in this collection come in 2 sizes: the A
size measures 5.8” x 5.8” and the B size is 3.9” x 3.9”. Our
Comfort Wrap is meant to be placed over your shoulders, so
For this sample, we decided to use 4 blocks
in a row to create the length of our wrap.
We used our A size block, which means
that our final design measures 6” x 24”. The
length of your finished wrap is up to you!
you may have to adjust the length of your wrap accordingly
by adding more or less quilt blocks. When adding your
blocks to the project, we recommend facing your blocks
out towards each edge of the wrap so that when placed
behind the neck, the embroidered blocks will drop over the
shoulder in the correct orientation. Once you have pieced
together your blocks, fill them up with your preferred filler,
(like rice or flax seed), add some essential oils if desired,
then heat up your wrap and relax!
WE MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU!
