Next, align the panels with wrong sides together so your
designs face outward. Pin the panels together along the
edges, taking care to match up the vertical seams and
tacking stitches on the front with the vertical seams and
tacking stitches on the back.

Use your sewing machine to stitch on top of the tacking
stitches all the way around the edge of your runner, joining
the two panels together.
Now it’s time to make the binding. Cut four strips of your
chosen binding fabric 2.5” wide each. NOTE: Use the
calculations from the “Planning Your Runner” page to
determine how many strips you need to cut!
Repeat steps A - D to create the back panel of your runner.
You should now have two panels that look similar to this.
