THISTLE BE FUN TO STITCH
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
A B
Run the first step of your design, which will be the squaring
stitch to indicate where you will place your batting.
C D
Place a piece of batting over the squaring stitch, being sure
to cover the stitch on all sides.
The next step will be the tacking stitch, securing your batting
to the stabilizer.
E F
Using a pair of curved-tip appliqué scissors, trim away any
excess batting from the tacking stitch.
Once trimmed, your batting should look something like this.
To begin, hoop a piece of No Show stabilizer to fit your hoop
and load the block design you are wanting to stitch.
NOTE: For this example, we are stitching design RT1.
