FABRIC
You can use layers of organza as your
appliqué in the designs to create jeweltoned
hues, which will contrast nicely
with a dark satin stitch outline overtop.
NOTIONS
You’ll want to keep a pair of curved tip
scissors handy for trimming away your
organza appliqués, as well as a rotary
cutter and ruler for final block trimming.
GLISTENING
GLASS
THREADS
We went with combinations of vibrant
colors such as yellow, orange, green,
blue, and pink. For the stitching on top
of the organza, we used a black thread
color to match the look of traditional
metal framework of stained glasswork.
