ONE BEAT AT A TIME
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
A B
Run the first machine step, which will be the placement stitch
for your base material.
C D
Now place your choice of material over the placement
stitches, being sure to cover them on all sides.
NOTE: You can use tape to secure the organza and keep
the material from sliding if needed.
Run the next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch to
ensure your material is secure.
E F
With a sharp pair of curved tip embroidery scissors, trim
away any excess material you have from the tacking stitch.
You should now have something that looks like this!
NOTE: Before running the next machine step, wind a
matching bobbin so that the front and back of your design
will look the same.
To begin, hoop a piece of Wash Away stabilizer.
NOTE: For this example, we are stitching design LH5
using organza and matte embroidery threads.
