Using a pair of scissors, trim away any excess appliqué
material from the tacking stitch.
O P
Once trimmed, you should have something that looks
like this.
For any other remaining appliqué, follow along with picture
steps K - N.
Q R
Once you have reached your second to last step, which will
be the tacking stitch for your back fabric, turn your hoop over
and place your back fabric on the back of the hoop, right
side facing up. Tape along the edges to prevent shifting.
Now, trim away the top and sides of your back fabric, leaving
at least a ½” seam allowance on the bottom for future use.
Run your next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch.
