here. The embroidery and quilting world was brand new to
me when I started and I’m constantly learning new things
from my coworkers and our customers. I am now also very
involved with film and social media, and this was definitely not
an avenue I ever thought I would take. I thrive off of change
and learning and Anita Goodesign is very supportive of that. I
of course have to shout out my coworkers (again) as being a
contributing factor to loving my job.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
I keep myself very busy outside of the office. I love to travel
and do so as much as possible. Trips to the mountains or
beach or international explorations...sky’s the limit. I was
born and raised in Buffalo, NY
and my entire family is still there.
I am also a huge fan and season
ticket holder of the Buffalo Bills, so
needless to say, you can find me in
Buffalo a good amount. I love to
cook! My signature dish is probably
homemade sauce and meatballs,
which I learned to make from my grandmother and mother.
What is your favorite Anita Goodesign collection?
Listen, I cannot pick just one favorite collection! It is way too
hard. So I would say my favorite quilting collections include
the 1,2,3 system. This allows you to customize every single
quilt block you make and you can use almost any design, as
long as it fits within the block. I love to have options and this
allows me to do just that. A close second would be anything
including bags, whether it be zipper bags or making larger
purses and duffel bags.
What is something you have learned while working at
Anita Goodesign?
Something that always sticks with me is the love and support
that is found within the embroidery community. I have traveled
all over the country meeting our dealers and customers
and it truly warms my heart to see how this amazing hobby
brings people together. I have seen best friends who met as
complete strangers at an event of ours over 10 years ago.
I have watched shy and scared newbies at their first event
being helped and coached by our veteran customers. We
have shared laughs over our whoopsies and project mishaps,
given hugs and encouragement for those who needed it, and
“I LOVE THAT I AM
ABLE TO BE CREATIVE AND
BUSINESS-MINDED.”

high fives and applause over our
successes and project completions.
There is something special about our
community of customers. I am forever
grateful for that.
What are you most excited for in
the coming year?
We have put a lot of time and effort
into developing our virtual experience for our customers. We
have built an entire team that is dedicated solely to creating
content and education that allows us to come into your homes.
Our customers can take live classes and stitch with us every
week. This allows us to connect and share lots of tips and
tricks, give away some prizes, and, of course, laugh. Lots of
laughing at Anita Goodesign. We also have created quite an
extensive library of video tutorials. You can find anything from
highlights on specific collections to All Access flip throughs. I
think 2022 is going to be a really big year for the digital side
of Anita Goodesign and I’m just looking forward to reaching
more and more customers around the world this way!
