STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Secure the pieces together along the top edge using pins.

Place the second cut of pocket fabric (that matches your
base fabric) overtop of the first piece, right sides together.
Join the pieces together at the top, sewing at a 1⁄4" seam
allowance. Be sure to backstitch at the beginning and end.
Now that the base pieces are attached, unfold the joined
panels and turn the fabrics so right sides are facing out.

Press the top seam flat with a steam iron, making sure the
seam allowance is pressed to one side and towards the
lining piece of the pocket.
Now it's time to add our front pocket. To do this, place the
30" x 13" pocket fabric with the embroidered Gnomes design
right side facing up on your work surface.
