Align the notches on the sole with the notches on the top
of your slipper cap. Then, align the edges of the slipper cap
with the sole. Pin in place. Pinch or fold the slipper cap and
pin down to avoid catching the fabric with the embroidery
foot. Run the next step, which is the tacking stitch (black).
O P
Trim away any excess materials you may have from aroudn
the entire slipper.
Run your last machine step, which will be the satin stitch
around the entire slipper.
Q R
Once you have finished running your last machine step,
remove your slipper from the stabilizer. Make sure you
remove the stabilizer from the bottom of the slipper as well!
One of your Embroidered Slippers is now complete! Repeat
the process to create the other slipper, and you’ll have the
perfect pair!
Using a pair of sharp curved tip appliqué scissors, trim
around the sides of your sole close to the tacking stitch line.
Leave seam allowance around the top edge of your slipper.
