Q: Can I ride my bike on the boardwalk? A: Yes - but ONLY from 6:00 am to 9:00 am between May and September. Q: Do I have to pay for parking at the beach? A: Yes - During the season, parking along the East side of Ocean Avenue is $2.00 per hour. Pay at the kiosks located at every block. Q: Can I take my dog on the beach? A: No - Not during the summer. Bonfires - 3 Bonfires are permitted on Belmar Beach with an approved Open Burning Permit and are limited to only ONE per week. The permit is only valid for the date, time and location approved by the Fire Marshal. Application for permit must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event accompanied by all necessary applications, checks and insurance. The permit holder must be over 21 years of age.
