The Order of Salvador
The Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg established the Order of Salvador during its first year of operation to honor and
recognize patrons of the museum. The Order is based on knightly historical orders and members are given a medal engraved with
an insignia based upon one of Dalí’s paintings. Individuals are promoted through a series of ranks, each having its own type of
ribbon and bezel for the medals and members of the Order proudly wear their medals to museum functions. This Ceremony of
Investiture and Elevation occurs once a year at the Dalí.
