Fun to Paddle
Kayaks have been used for thousands of years,
originating with the Inuit, or Eskimos from the
northern Arctic. Kayaks are similar to canoes,
although they sit lower-to-the-water and use a
double blade paddle rather than an oar, so that
one person can easily accelerate and maneuver
the boat. This Vibe Yellowfin 100, one of the most
comfortable kayaks on the market, is ideal for
beginning paddlers. It comes with an elevated seat,
four fishing rod holders and two dry wells to keep
personal items safe. It is available at Jack’s Kayaks
at 1764 Missouri Ave. N. in Largo, (727) 452-4684.

of models that are available at MD Oriental Markets
on 49th Street in Pinellas Park, (727) 954-8876; and in
Tampa on East Adamo Drive, (813) 443-2188, and on
