HOW CAN A DRAWSTRING BAG BE CREATED IN THE HOOP?
We have found a way to create a drawstring bag entirely in the hoop! Well, everything except for feeding the
drawstring through the channel. You'll have to do that on your own.
Each of the 10 designs in this collection has two files: a front that includes the decorative design, and a back that
is matched specifically to a front. For example, with bag #3, the file for the front is DWB3 and the corresponding
back is file DWB3-BK. (All of the backs have "-BK" on the end of the name.) These two designs are a pair and
should be run together to make bag #3.
You will begin each bag by loading and then creating the back design. When it is finished, remove it from the hoop
and set it aside. Next, begin the matching front design. Once the decorative steps are completed, the last step of
the design will be to attach the back. Now you can remove the bag from the hoop, turn it inside out, and you're
finished! Well, not quite done. You will still need to work the drawstring through. We'll let you know when we find
a way to do that for you too!
THE FRONT AND BACK WILL EACH HAVE THEIR OWN FILE
