(fab-ri-kol-uh-jist)
noun
1. One who has perfected
the art of stashing fabric.
2. An expert accumulator of
cloth intended for future use.
Every crafter has at least one or 20 baskets
overflowing with fabric scraps just waiting
for the perfect project. No one wants to
throw anything away, especially the lovely
pieces of fabric you have leftover from all
of your embroidery projects.
Whether you have little tiny fabric scraps
and trimmed edges or larger remnants
you wish to use, these projects offer a little
something for everyone. From wall art and
home decor, to chandeliers and frames,
they are incredibly easy to create with any
of your fabric scraps!
Whenever you have scraps of fabric leftover
from other projects, don’t ever throw them
away! Instead, collect your fabric scraps and
make something brand new from them. The
main project we created using scraps from
our creative floor’s fabric room was a DIY
fabric chandelier. Use this idea when looking
to add a noticeable difference to any room
in your home. This DIY section also includes
two other similar projects, a wall tapestry
and a fabric wrapped frame, that can be
made using leftover fabric scraps.
