DFW Hispanic 100
On September 13, the DFW Hispanic
100, a network of Dallas/Ft. Worth
area brought together Hispanic leaders
to honor Mercedes Olivera with its Latina
Living Legend Award. Working to increase
business and leadership opportunities
for Latinas, Olivera was recognized for
giving voice to the voiceless, using her
platform to share the stories of those
quietly making an impact on the
Hispanic community.

The 2018 USHCC National Convention, the largest gathering of Hispanic
business leaders in America was held from September 16-18 in Philadelphia,
PA at the Philadelphia Marriot Downtown. The National Convention is the
country's largest networking venue for Hispanic-owned businesses and Fortune
1000 corporations interested in the Hispanic market.

The Hispanic Heritage Awards
were established in 1987 by President
Ronald Reagan to commemorate
the creation of Hispanic Heritage
Month in America.
