GALA AT THE NATIONAL WORLD WAR II MUSEUM
Honorees to receive the Inspired Cross Award

NEW ORLEANS, LA – Daughters of
Charity Foundation of New Orleans hosts
its 8th Annual Keeping Our Promises
Gala, presented by Louisiana Healthcare
Connections, Saturday, March 23rd at The
National World War II Museum’s U.S.
Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center,
1117 Calliope Street in New Orleans. The
Patron Party begins at 7 p.m. followed by
the Gala at 8 p.m. Proceeds will be used
to eradicate health disparities locally by
providing access to high quality health
care to all members of the community.
The event will also commemorate the
Daughters of Charity and their 185th anniversary
of providing health services to the
New Orleans community.
The 2019 Inspired Cross honorees
include Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
(The Greater New Orleans Chapters), the
New Orleans Alumnae Chapter of Delta
Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., LCMC Health,
and the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic &
Assistance Foundation. The Inspired Cross
Award is given annually to organizations
and individuals who share Daughters of
Charity Services of New Orleans’ vision
and work to promote healthy communities.
The gala will also include a silent auction
featuring unique and priceless items, a
Porter Lyons Jewelry Pull, and delicious
foods and drinks. Live entertainment will
be provided by The Royal Essence Show
Band.
