Without question, Florida’s Space Coast is an ideal family vacation destination. The sky’s the limit
for fun and relaxation on the 72 mile stretch of unspoiled beaches that forms Florida’s Space Coast.
It is also the gateway to the hi-tech world of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex where you can
explore up close the 30-year Space Shuttle Program including its key role with the International Space
Station and Hubble Space Telescope.
ON THE COVER: Enjoying time at the beach with family and friends is full of fun and frivolity.
Florida’s Space Coast has 72 miles of coastline consisting of some of the best beaches in the
state. One such beach is Jetty Park. Jetty Park is a beautiful 45-acre park that is one of the
most visited spots on the Space Coast. Located inside Port Canaveral, Jetty Park offers visitors a
chance to view cruise ships as they come and go on adventurous itineraries, military submarines
traveling in and out of the port, spectacular rocket launches from the Cape Canaveral Space
Force Station, and various types of marine and wildlife that call the area home.
Jetty Park houses a beautiful beach with soft white sand and is designated only for guests in
Jetty Park. With year-round lifeguards and Beach Rental vendors, the only thing you need to
worry about for an awesome beach day is the fun. Anglers flock to the 1200-foot fishing pier
that jets out into the Atlantic Ocean, providing the ultimate fishing experience. The fishing pier is
fully accessible and includes running water and various fish cleaning stations. The campground
inside Jetty Park is known as an ‘Oasis by the Ocean’ for one-of-a-kind camping experiences
with rustic sites for Tent Camping, Cabin Rentals, and RV sites with all the amenities included.
Bring the whole family to enjoy picnics in the park with pavilion rentals, a children’s playground,
and much more!
Whatever your interests are, the Space
Coast offers endless opportunities to
enjoy invigorating outdoor activities and
unparalleled educational experiences.
Go birding, hike our scenic trails, take a
ride in an authentic World War II Biplane,
play golf, visit museums, galleries, antique
stores or pause to enjoy any of the Space
Coast’s many fantastic eateries. Florida’s
Space Coast is the place where you and
your family can see and do it all! There’s
no other Florida destination like it!
