He would take his paper and watercolors up to the beach daily and paint, always ending with a dip in the ocean. Ed had a shop at Viking Village for 10 years named “SEA THINGS” which closed in 1978. He also had a stand for 15 years at the Viking Village Arts & Crafts Shows every summer ����������������������������������������������������������������������������������������- peat buyers would be waiting for his car to arrive with a load of freshly painted beach scenes so they could add to their collection. Ed has retired the paint brush now, but his paintings continue to sell in local galleries from these collections “Your kindergarten picture is still there” he recently told me, 55 years later.
