CREATING ACCENT PILLOW Now, hoop the front main fabric with a piece a Tear-away stabilizer, lining up the pins with the center notches of your embroidery hoop. Continue on with the embroidery steps of the design. Then, place pins back in center of embroidery design to complete step C. Next, cut your decorative crochet fabric and lining fabric (same fabric as pillow fabric) to 7” x 20”. Using a serger or zig-zag stitch, attach the two fabrics from end to end as shown in step E. A 9.25” 11.5” The pillow will be created by first stitching your design in an off center position on the front main fabric. To start, lay your main fabric (22” x 22”) on a flat surface. Measure 9.25” from the left side of the fabric and mark with a pin. Then, measure 11.5” from top or bottom to find the center point used when stitching your design. TRIM 6.5” Once stitching is complete, remove your design from the hoop. Place the design on a flat surface. Using your pins, measure 6.5” from the center point of the design (marked with an ‘X’). At this point, trim your fabric on the solid line shown in the picture. Place your crochet fabric directly on top of lining fabric, right side facing up.
