CREATING ACCENT PILLOW G H Using your sewing machine, straight stitch the pieces together using a 1/2” seam allowance. Be sure to remove pins as you go. 7.0” I J The pillow back is created using an envelope back. You will need two pieces of main fabric measuring 26” x 20”. Fold both pieces vertically, wrong sides together, so that both pieces are now 13” x 20”. We have labeled them #1 and #2 for the next step. K L Pin all four sides in place as shown. You are now ready to add the crocheted lace to the base of the pillow. Place the front pillow fabric with stitched design, face up, and measure 7.0” from the edge of right side. Place your accent fabric, face down, at solid line shown above and pin in place. This is an example of the crocheted lace added to the front pillow fabric. Set aside. Place the entire front pillow piece, face up, on a flat surface. Then place back piece #1 on top, lining up the raw edges of the left side and pin in place. Then, place back piece #2 in same manner, lining up the raw edges of the right side. Note: the folded edges on both back pieces should be facing inwards toward each other. #1 #2 #1 #2 ENDLESS SUMMER | Full Collection | 151
