Soapbox Derby Derby Hill, Partin Park Hometown Happenings MAY The annual Soap Box Derby offered a full day of fun at Partin Park with prizes awarded in Stock, Superstock and Super Kids categories. While the Soap Box Derby is mostly for kids, Friday night the track was open for anyone to participate in the “Ride What You Brung” contest. These “homemade” carts were made from a variety of unusual materials, but as long as it could roll downhill, it was eligible!
