Best with butter sauce made tart with Key Lime juice. CONCH: Chewy clams served tenderized with lime juice, raw, and chopped in salad or chowder. Chianti - Italy’s best known red wine, is dry and full-bodied. Merlot - California robust red, but not over-bearing. Pinot Grigio - Considered the “New” Chardonnay. It’s lighter, slightly sweeter, but still with some-depth. Pinot Noir - A red burgundy of light to medium body favoring a fruitier style. Said to be a Romantic Red. Red Zinfandel - From southern Italy, a strong, rich and full-bodied spicy red.
